Although i am currently a digital-based artist, my album cover art goes all the way back to the hand-drawn Raging Death compilation LP. So I may use Illustrator & Photoshop but many details done by hand, NOT swiped.
My primary outlet has been art for Grindhouse Releasing, including theatrical posters for Cannibal Holocaust, Evil Dead & the dvd package design for Pieces, The Beyond & Cat in the Brain. I also created the theatrical 1 sheet for Blu Underground’s Zombie reissue, as well as all the ads.
More than happy to make a contribution to help support your site. Hope this Slasher design thing makes people rethink the recent rejection of digital art. good art is good art & has been used by many master artists like Rich Corben. I believe, as long as it looks killer & isn’t stolen from another artist, i feel it’s just as valid.
